Why it's here?
Most of our tees are pure cotton. But two of our more fitted styles need a little give, so they hold their shape instead of bagging out at the neck and cuffs. That's what the stretch does. And a tee that keeps its shape is a tee you keep, instead of one you replace, which is the most sustainable outcome a garment can have.
When a piece needs stretch, we use recycled spandex rather than virgin, so even the small synthetic part of the tee is made from something that already existed instead of something newly made.
How much, and where we use it?
10% recycled spandex, in two styles only. The other 90% is our usual blend of recycled and organic cotton. Every other style we make is cotton, with no spandex at all.
We'll always tell you exactly what's in a garment. The full fiber breakdown is listed on each product page, so you know precisely what you're wearing before you buy it.
